Riyadh - Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s fast-growing low-cost airline flyadeal has launched scheduled flights from Riyadh to the northwestern region of Neom, according to a press release.
The four-times-a-week service will link the Saudi capital with Neom Bay Airport, serving the Kingdom’s network of mega infrastructure projects in Tabuk Province.
The route is flyadeal’s second to Neom, already served twice a week from Dammam in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province.
Opened in 2019, Neom Bay is the province’s fourth airport. It is designed to facilitate travel to and from a tourism-centered region in line with Saudi Vision 2030 to diversify the economy away from oil dependence.
Lloyd Misquitta, Acting Chief Commercial Officer at flyadeal, said: “The new Riyadh–Neom route underscores flyadeal’s commitment to create air corridors that support the government’s drive to build significant economic infrastructure across the Kingdom.”
The official added: “Neom is a prime example of key development focus, at the centre of several giga projects in Saudi Arabia. The destination builds on flyadeal’s continued efforts to develop new routes and increase frequencies in our home market, now representing 70% of the airline’s overall capacity.”
The airline entered 2026 with major expansion after boosting its network from Madinah, adding five new routes. The expansion included international flights to Istanbul’s Sabiha Gökçen Airport and four domestic destinations: Abha, Al Hofuf, Jazan, and Tabuk.
